Ingenue is a Poetry book that I was given the chance to create and have published for Cereal City Chapter Books in Battle Creek, MI.

The author, Todd Mercer, was given multiple different designs, and the feedback the studio received was that he disliked all of the designs except for one design, which happened to be my design. So he asked to work with me and have me create the cover art and the layout of his whole poetry chapter book. This was such a unique and amazing experience to have, to work with the author and to work with a printing press company that helped bring this project to life. I’m so happy I was able to bring his ideas and dreams to life for his book, and I’m thankful for the opportunity I had to work with him.

The covers were made in Photoshop, using royalty-free images, and then I adjusted the color hue, and saturation, and then added some overlays, blending the Title and Author onto the front cover.

The layout of the poetry book was done in Adobe InDesign.
